Another important item in the Filter Package is the ladder. The A-Frame ladder is the most popular ladder used on pools installed above ground (without a deck). Deck ladders or In-pool steps are ideal when a deck is installed around an above ground or semi-inground pool.

Package A includes a WATERWAY 50 SQ. FT. CARTRIDGE FILTER SYSTEM that provides an economic solution for filtering your above ground swimming pool. The Waterway 50 sq. ft. filter includes a reinforced polyester Waterway #2 cartridge made to provide excellent water clarity.

Unlike the easily maintained cartridge filter systems the Hayward EC-40 does require backwashing (draining the D.E. and dirty water from the filter and recharging the filter with D.E.).
